We went for our follow up appt yesterday to see if the nose spray has helped to clear the fluid in his ears. Today they only inserted something to check the echos but she still made the pandas drum for him when he asked :)
The hearing test itself wasn't that good but when he looked manually he said that the fluid had improved a lot and what had happened was the tubes were more open and now had wax in them.
T was so brave (and the doctor was so good with him) and sat completely still while the doctor removed the wax. I have to put a solution in his ears once a week before his bath to get the wax moving and hopefully this will help his hearing back to normal. We have a follow up in six weeks
As he was so good I took T to lunch at his favourite place Applebees. After the meal I was cleaning up a few pieces of macaroni from the floor when suddenly T started banging my back and said 'naughty mummy making a mess'. I looked up to see the waiter standing there laughing at the situation. Very cute!
I also have a confession to make. I am almost afraid to admit I did this. I hugged zuchinni (courgette to those back home). I hugged it and said 'I love you zuchinni, thanks for hugging us so nicely' Only one person saw me as far as I know, I tried to ignore her twitching lips as she tried to keep a straight face.
I guess I will pretty much do anything for T if he asks!
