Bathroom Games

For the last few days T has been fascinated by going into the bathroom. Fascinating for him but annoying for me when he is standing outside the door whining to go in there.

Who would have thought that the bathroom could become a mini Olympic Games for a 1 year old?

• Shower curtain hide and seek
• Trying to break into the bathroom cabinet
• Sneak past mummy to the toilet brush (I always win this game)
• Towel tossing - he pulls them off, I hang them up, he pulls them off
• Tug-O-Bathrobe cord
• Toilet seat drumming
  

Needless to say we have been spending a fair amount of time in there recently with me repeating the mantra "it's a phase, it too will pass"

This afternoon I treated myself to an enjoyable stroll around the local shops. Not a bathroom in sight so no whining from T until he started to get tired.

Of course I kept the best diversion for last, an empty diaper box for T to play with after his afternoon nap!
