I wanted to make sure that 20th Feb was recorded as a notable date in T's history. The date of mum and Sarah's wedding anniversaries will also be the date or our first tantrum.
Not content with breaking me in gently at home he chose to have it at the tyre center. To put it simply, we needed to leave and T didn't want to. After several attempts I got his coat on. It was impossible to get him in the stroller without him breaking his back, he just kept arching and sliding out. I gave in gracefully and tucked him screaming under my arm and went to pay.
The tantrum got so bad people vacated the waiting area and could be seen smoking cigarettes in the below freezing temperatures outside. I have to say it was an excellent first attempt from him and I dread to think what he will be like with practise.
I needn't have worried about how to get him in his car seat. We got there and he was instantly calm again. I think he knew that I wasn't giving in and it was game over. Phew!
